I Like To Think The Words Scream: It had been a rather quiet evening for Drusilla. She sat in the back...

It had been a rather quiet evening for Drusilla. She sat in the back of a restaurant bar, a booth all to herself as she dabbed her mouth with a napkin, though not an ounce of food had touched her face. She was polite, always polite and a lady, no matter the time. People kept coming in and out of…

The evening was quiet. So quiet that some people would call it peaceful and relaxing. But all this quiet evening was to Faith was dull and boring. No action. No vampires to slay. No demon heads to chop off. Man, what was a girl supposed to do to get some action around here? Faith walked along the street, clueless as to what to do to entertain herself. She had figured her evening would be spent slayer-style. But it seemed that luck wasn’t in Faith’s favor. But then again, when was it?

Faith spotted a restaurant up ahead. Why not? It’s not like I’m missing any action out here. Shoving her hands into her black leather jacket, Faith approached the restaurant. Just as she reached the door it swung open as a trio of friends exited the joint. Faith watched the trio as they walked off, laughing and joking around about something.

Friends…screw that. Didn’t work out the first time. With a shrug Faith pushed open the door and entered the restaurant. A little silver bell jingled above her head, signaling to the patrons of her arrival. She walked further into the joint and was about to select her seat when she felt a pair of eyes burning into her back. Slowing to a halt, Faith turned around to face whoever was staring at her.

A woman was sitting in the booth. She had long dark brown hair and equally dark brown eyes. The woman had yet to speak a word but Faith started to get a familair gut feeling. This woman wasn’t no normal chick. “You like what you see are do we have a problem?”
